KAREN LANDRIGAN CHOSEN TO EXHIBIT HER PAINTING “FLEETING” IN THE INTERNATIONAL 5TH ANNUAL “SEASCAPES” COMPETITION.

Award winning artist Karen Landrigan announced today that her painting “Fleeting” was chosen for the art exhibition at the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery. Karen Landrigan is an international artist who is known for her powerful and emotional acrylic paintings, but also creates whimsical drawings and handmade sterling silver jewelry.




Karen Landrigan’s painting “Fleeting” was chosen through an art competition which was conducted last September 2015 by the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery. The art competition for September was the 5th Annual “SeaScapes” and 2D and 3D artists (including photography) from around the world were called upon to make online submissions for possible inclusion in to the Gallery’s October 2015 online group art exhibition. The “SeaScapes” theme was considered to be any art with the subjects being scenes of coastal living, any ocean activities, seaside vistas and any related seashore subjects for inclusion into this art exhibition.




The gallery received 419 entries from 18 different countries from around the world, including Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Niue, Philippines, Portugal, Russia, Saint Maarten, Scotland, Sweden, Netherlands, United Kingdom and Wales. In addition, the gallery received entries from 27 different states.




Karen Landrigan lives and creates her art in Houston, Texas and has been a designer, innovator, metalsmith and an artist for more than 25 years. Regarding this art show Landrigan stated “I am very pleased and gratified to be chosen by the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery for this show. It is fabulous to be recognized by the Light Space & Time Gallery and I am delighted to start to share my art to a wider audience.”
