KAREN LANDRIGAN CHOSEN TO EXHIBIT HER PAINTING “SOARING” IN THE INTERNATIONAL 5TH ANNUAL “ALL WOMEN” COMPETITION

Award winning artist Karen Landrigan SCA, announced today that her painting “Soaring” was chosen for the art exhibition at the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery. An elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists, Landrigan is an international artist known for her powerful and emotional acrylic paintings. She also creates whimsical drawings and designs handmade sterling silver jewelry.




“Soaring” was chosen by competition, last November 2015 by the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery. The gallery received 890 entries from 33 different countries from around the world, including Australia, Austria, Barbados, Canada, China, Croatia, Egypt, Finland, France, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Kuala Lumpur, Netherlands, New Zealand, Philippines, Reunion Island, Romania, Russia, Scotland, Singapore, South Africa, St. Maarten, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom. In addition, the gallery received entries from 38 different states.




Landrigan’s painting is in the exhibition in the 5th Annual ‘All Women” art competition this January 2016. 2D and 3D artists (including photography) from around the world are called upon to make online submission for inclusion in the competition. The “All Women” competition is an open theme.




Karen Landrigan lives and creates her art in Houston, Texas and has been a designer, innovator, metalsmith and an artist for more than 25 years. Regarding this art show Landrigan stated “I am very pleased and gratified to be chosen by the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery for this show.
