“Roaring” in the International 6th Annual “Open” Competition

Award winning artist Karen Landrigan SCA, announced today that her painting “Roaring” was chosen for the art exhibition at the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery. Landrigan, an elected
member of the Society of Canadian Artists, is an internationally recognized artist known for her powerful and emotional acrylic paintings. She also creates whimsical drawings and designs handmade sterling silver jewelry.




In September 2016,“Roaring” was chosen by competition by the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery. The art competition received submissions (including photography) from around the world. There was no theme for this art competition and the gallery accepted art which was representative or in abstract form.




In total 654 entries were submitted from 20 different countries; including Australia, Canada, Croatia, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Romania, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and Wales. In addition, the gallery received entries from 40 different states. Landrigan’s painting is in the 6th Annual “Open” exhibition this October 2016.
Karen Landrigan lives and creates her art in Houston, Texas and has been a designer, innovator, metalsmith and an artist for more than 25 years.
